Social Worker Degree

The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Social Worker, BSW reports directly to the Supervisor of Adult Community Services or his/her designate. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies - Intermediate - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to report client information in accordance with professional standards - A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients - Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure - Ability to work under stress - Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills - Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility - Ability to prioritize work - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Ability to competently use computers and software applications - Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions - Ability to con...
