Terms of Service

ApplyNorth applies to Canadian jobs on your behalf. These terms cover what you are buying, how to cancel, and the limits of what we promise.

The service

You give us a job-search profile and a resume. We search Canadian job postings, score them against your profile, and submit applications in your name up to your plan's monthly limit. Applications are sent as you: your name, your email as reply-to, your resume.

Your responsibilities

• Everything in your profile must be true, especially your work authorization status.
• You may only use your own identity, resume and credentials.
• You are responsible for what is submitted under your name. Review your dashboard.
• One account per person.

Plans and billing

• Starter: $19 CAD per month, 100 applications per month.
• Pro: $39 CAD per month, 250 applications per month.
• Max: $69 CAD per month, 600 applications per month.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Your monthly allowance resets at the start of each billing period. Unused applications do not carry over. Only applications we actually submit count against your limit. Failures and applications held for your review are free.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, yourself, in two clicks. Go to your dashboard and choose Manage subscription, then cancel. No email, no phone call, no retention process.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep access and your remaining applications until then, and you are not charged again.

Refunds: if we charged you in error, or the service was unavailable for a sustained period, email support@applynorth.ca and we will refund you. Beyond that, monthly fees already incurred are non-refundable, which is why cancelling is immediate and self-serve.

What we do not promise

• We do not promise interviews, offers, or a job. We promise applications submitted to postings you qualify for.
• We cannot guarantee a specific number of matches in a given month. If too few postings match your profile, fewer applications are sent. We will not pad your total with jobs you do not qualify for.
• Employers control their own hiring. We have no influence over whether anyone responds.
• Job boards change their forms. When a form asks something we cannot answer truthfully from your profile, that application waits for you rather than being submitted with a guess.

Acceptable use

Do not use ApplyNorth to submit false information, apply on behalf of someone else, or harass employers. We may suspend accounts that do, without refund.

We do not apply through Indeed or LinkedIn, because their terms prohibit automated applying.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to you before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada.
