Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training - ACLS training required upon hire - Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Competencies - Communication skills - Problem solving skills - Critical thinking skills - Listening skills - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge in LEAN management system - Ability to balance the needs and interests of diverse group - Ability to communicate with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds - Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info. - Working knowledge in health promotion - Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Demonstrated understanding of the prevention and management of chronic diseases - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) - Knowledge in population and public health concepts Other Information - For more information on the town of Moosomin please visit https://www.moosomin.com/ - Registere...
