Medical Radiation Technologist - Specialty

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: Mammography, Angiography (IR), Computerized Tomography Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT) Licenses - Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Registered College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan Other Education and Training - Angiography training/certificate, as required - Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required - Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required - Mammography training/certificate, as required Competencies - Basic - Computer skills - Interpersonal skills - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work independently Other Information - Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation - Valid driver's license, where required - No guaranteed hours.
