We support 18 different sports with over 400 athletes. Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Alpine Skiing Time Commitment: 2-3 hours/week Mondays - 6:15 - 9:00 pm Jan 4/27- Feb 22/27 Location: Boler Mountain The role: Our program is not a learn to ski program. Athletes must be independent skiers with an interest in racing. Coaches do not necessarily need to have a racing background just be competent skiers themselves . Coaches are expected to be able follow instructions given by the head coach to teach athletes certain skiing techniques on areas they need to work on. At times as a coach becomes more comfortable, they may be asked to take more than one athlete on the hill at a time.
