Nurse B - Community Mental Health Nurse

Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing - Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training - Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable - Nursing diploma is acceptable - Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies - Interpersonal skills - Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs & support agencies - Knowledge of factors affecting high-risk populations and their family dynamics - Knowledge in principles/programs/practices in community mental health nursing - Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and openness to working w/ diverse populations Other Information - For more information on the town of La Ronge please visit https://www.laronge.ca/ - Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) - May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives - La Ronge is located approximately 241 km north of Prince Albert - Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS - Provincial posting open to SUN members SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05 - No guaranteed hours About US The Sask...
