CHILD CARE WORKER - Casual / Part-Time / On-Call

* Provide safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care. * Supervise children during play, meals, rest periods, and activities. * Support emotional and behavioural needs using trauma-informed and culturally respectful approaches. * Assist with activities that support learning, creativity, and social development. * Maintain attendance records, incident reports, and required documentation. * Follow safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and professional boundaries. * Experience working with children in childcare, family services, or community settings. * Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related training is an asset. * Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. * Experience working with First Nations families or diverse cultural communities is an asset. We are looking for someone who can create a safe, supportive environment for children while understanding the impact addiction, trauma, and family stress can have on the whole family.
