Nurse B - Clinician

The Emergency Nurse Clinician collaborates with the Charge Nurse, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow, reduce length of stay, and facilitate safe discharges, transfers, and admissions. The role involves identifying and liaising with the appropriate parties to assist in coordinating tests, procedures, transportation, community supports, bed placements, and address barriers to care. The Nurse Clinician also supports admission initiatives, monitors patient status and documentation, and assists nursing staff with clinical operational needs to promote efficient, patient-centered care Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - 5 years recent full-time experience in emergency nursing required Education - Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Certificate Licenses - Basic Life Support (BLS) - CNA Certification in clinical practice area - Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Other Education and Training - Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies - Ability to adapt to changing conditions - Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices - Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position - Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs - Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients - Abilit...
