Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

HealthLine 811 is a technology rich, evolving provincial program that offers free, confidential health, mental health & addictions information and supportive telephone advice available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all residents of Saskatchewan. Current services include health information, service referral, assessment and triage for inbound callers. HealthLine 811 outbound call service is expanding and new programs are being developed. HealthLine 811 Registered Nurses work in a team environment with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - Recent acute care experience. - 3 years clinical experience using high levels of independent assessment skills Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training - Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) - Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information - Healthline 811 is a safe and clean environment. - Must be available at any time during shift to assist another caller/patient. - For more information on the city of Regina please visit https://www.regina.ca/ - Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) - All clinician roles at Healthline 811 are sedentary. - Must have a typing speed of at least 25 wpm.
