Reporting to the Director of Anishinaabewaadiziwin, the Cultural Safety Promoter will support the promotion of cultural safety education, anti-racism, and inclusive practices throughout SLFNHA and the communities it serves. The Cultural Safety Promoter provides education, training, resources, and guidance to support the professional development of SLFNHA staff and strengthen understanding of First Nations cultures, traditions, values, and approaches. The position promotes culturally safe practices, the Grandfather Teachings, respectful relationships, inclusion, and best practices across the organization.
