CNC Machine Operator

Must be willing to take directions from experienced journeymen machinists Produce quality parts that conform to specifications, using CNC machines. Set up and operate both CNC lathe and Mill Inspect parts for quality and defects. Load raw materials (Average weight 30lbs up to 60lbs) Manufacture parts to specifications and tolerances indicated on shop drawings and blue prints Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Read and interpret blueprints and other written technical documents Participate in the planning of projects Completion of quality records Saw cut material to specified lengths Debrurring of parts Perform routine preventative maintenance; clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment.
