As an Outside Patrol Worker, you will serve as a vital front-line presence in the community surrounding the shelter, working as part of a team to engage directly with individuals experiencing homelessness, many of whom may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or facing complex physical, mental health, and social challenges. This position involves conducting regular patrols of the shelter grounds and surrounding neighbourhood to maintain safety and security, responding to crises and emergency situations, and providing immediate support to individuals in distress.
