Cold Food Prep (SFU Dining Commons, Burnaby, BC)

A Cold Food Prep is responsible for preparing and assembling cold food items such as salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and station mise en place to support daily operations and special events. The role assists all production stations with food preparation, ensures products are thawed according to HSQA standards, and maintains clean, organized, and fully operational workstations. Responsibilities also include following portion control, supporting accurate forecasting, maintaining food safety records, temperature and waste logs, replenishing supplies, and assisting other stations as needed. The role requires teamwork, adherence to company service and inventory standards, maintaining professional service presentation, and addressing guest inquiries promptly.
