Physical Therapist Degree Senior

Reporting directly to the Manager, the Physical Therapist-Degree-Senior is an integral member of the interdisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis Team. The Physical Therapist-Degree-Senior will be responsible for airway clearance techniques and support, nebulization's, assessment, evaluation, and education. The Physical Therapist-Degree-Senior is responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Two (2) years' relevant work experience determined by Employer. - Experience in Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy is an asset Education- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy Other Education and Training- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Knowledge and Abilities- Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing - Knowledge in various diagnostic for cardiopulmonary disease and/or diabetes - Demonstrates the ability to be resourceful and to adapt to changing conditions - Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment - ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, families. - Providing services to patients/families using a variety of treatment modalities - Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide relevant educational services - Demonstrate leadership that is visible, pro-active, professional and respectful - Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment appr...
