Emergency Medical Technician

Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses - International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) - Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP) - Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training - Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Competencies - Basic - Interpersonal skills - Basic - Verbal communication skills - Basic - Writing skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Ability to work independently Other Information - Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level - May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives - Standard Hours - Car allowance - For more information on the town of Lampman please visit https://townoflampman.ca/ - Lampman is located approximately 30 km northeast of Estevan - Scheduled hours of work may be reduced...
