IT - Support Analyst 1, Revelstoke

    IT – Support Analyst 1  Responsibilities: Provide support for customer requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary Communicate technical information to nontechnical users Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfaction Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and connectivity issues   Experience Requirements: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, applications, or network systems in a Windows environment OR  A university degree or diploma in computer science recent graduate Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong written documentation and note-taking skills. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems. Experience supporting POS or E-Commerce systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts including: TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN Connectivity Wireless Networking   Beneficial to have: While not required, experience with any of the following technologies would be considered an asset: Microsoft 365 Administration Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Azure Fundamentals IT Service Management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, Zendesk, etc.) Sophos Endpoint Security Dell hardware platforms Cisco, Meraki, or Ubiquiti networking equipment Enterprise laptop and desktop deployments Hospitality technology platforms Multi-site support environments Customer service or hospitality experience    Education: A university degree, diploma in computer science, or related IT certificates. The following certifications are considered assets: CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Candidates currently studying toward these certifications are encouraged to apply.   Requirements: Revelstoke based This is an onsite position Weekend rotation required
