Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual client care and for the overall provision of total client care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses - Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Other Education and Training - Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies - Decision making skills - Time management skills - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge of CRNS standards for nursing practice - Communicate effectively orally and written socio-economic status - Knowledge in LEAN management system - Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards - Working knowledge in health promotion - Demonstrated clinical competency - "Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands. " - Ability to balance the needs and interests of diverse groups - Effective interpersonal relationship skills - Knowledge in critical thinking processes - Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served - Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) - Competent critical thinking/judgement/autonomous decision making capabilities - Knowledge in population and public health concepts - Conflict resolution skills to effectively handle difficult issues - Ability to conduct assessments/prioritize client needs/develop treatment plans - Works independently...
