We’re fully remote and hire across Canada and the U.S. About the role: As a Client Account Manager at ZayZoon, you’ll be the trusted partner for some of our largest and most complex clients. You’ll get to know their business, their people, and what success looks like to them, then help them get the most out of ZayZoon. The work matters: when a client uses ZayZoon well, more of their employees can access their pay when they need it most. You’ll have real ownership over your accounts, a team that has your back, and room to shape how we manage and grow client relationships as we grow. Your impact: - Be the go-to advisor for a portfolio of high-value clients, connecting what ZayZoon offers to their business goals and the needs of their teams - Grow your accounts by spotting where clients could get more from ZayZoon and building a plan for each one to increase usage and long-term value - Lead business reviews and planning sessions with decision makers to look at results, recognize progress, and find what’s next - Step in when tricky issues come up, including support queries and escalations, rallying the right people internally and seeing things through until the client is taken care of - Bring the client’s voice to Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Care by sharing feedback, testing new offerings, and helping improve how we work - Build lasting partnerships that keep clients with us, keep accounts in good standing, and turn into success stories worth sharing - Help the whole team get better by sharing what works, keeping our resources current, running training sessions, and smoothing out workflows You bring: - 2+ years in a client-facing role where you built relationships, grew accounts, and helped clients get more out of a product - Experience managing your own book of clients, finding upsell opportunities, and working with internal teams to solve problems - A track record of creating and running adoption plans that led to results you can point to - Comfort turning data into clear, practical recommendations for clients - The judgment to balance urgent client needs with longer-term growth work, and to know which one needs you right now - Comfort using AI tools to work smarter, and a curiosity about finding new ways to make your day easier - Familiarity with CRM and ticketing tools like HubSpot, Intercom, or Jira Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of listed criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box.
