Social Worker Degree

Provides assessments, treatments, referrals and case management of individuals, couples, groups and families who experience mental health problems and/or addictions problems. Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies - Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills. - Organizational skills - Listening, specific counseling and assessment skills. - Demonstrates word processing skills using Microsoft Office programs Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to complete case management assessments, follow-up and treatment - Knowledge in appropriate models of therapeutic interventions - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Ability to competently use computers and software applications - Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act - Ability to assess, treat and implement mental health plans for youth & families - Proficient in case management skills and client follow-up - Strong interpersonal skills Other Information - For more information on the city of Melfort please visit https://www.melfort....
