Speech Language Pathologist Masters

Reporting to the Manager, the Speech Language Pathologist - Masters incumbent will provide speech and language services to assess, diagnose and implement treatment of speech and/or language remediation programs to the preschool populations. In addition, provides consultative, public education, and parent training services. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - Experience in applicable computer software/programs Education - Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies - Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills - Decision making skills - Excellent documentation skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning - Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions - Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately - Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and with broader interdisciplinary teams - Demonstrates effective relationships with staff, patients/clients, and families - Ability to take initiative - Ability to establish workload priorities. - Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development - Demonstrate responsible decision-making supported by strong critical thinking Other Information - May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Inc...
