Crisis Worker CASUAL

Post- Secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Minimum education: Grade 12. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations. Ability to complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to manage work-related stress and emotionally demanding situations. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of interpersonal violence and crisis intervention strategies Knowledge of diverse cultural values, beliefs and practices.
