The Director, Strategy and Business Development, will be responsible for contributing to growing Seaspan Shipyards business by leading and implementing business strategies for new or growing markets. Interfacing with Seaspan’s senior leadership team, this role will lead and support a range of strategic plans and initiatives including broad new business strategies, transformational initiatives, strategic initiatives and complex captures. Key to this role will be a strategic approach to understanding the breadth and complexity of our customer’s needs and developing strategies and solutions to meet those needs – both technical and non-technical. Working as part of the broader multi-disciplinary Seaspan team, this role will include direct leadership of capture teams growing to larger temporary teams during proposal activity and collaborative interfaces to many other departments and teams within Seaspan.
