Assistant Lifeguard

Responsible for monitoring proper safety procedures, and in cases of emergency, performs first aid, water rescues and other assistant lifeguarding duties within their skills and training. Supervises the activities of patrons using the facility in accordance with established policies and procedures. In consultation with Lifeguards, attend to inquiries of patrons Carries out assigned Assistant Lifeguarding duties to ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere conducive to aquatic fun and education while promoting a leisure atmosphere. Enforces swimming pool rules and regulations as outlined by the City of Prince Albert and the Saskatchewan Public Health Act. Follows City of Prince Albert Aquatic Manual and related Safe Work Practices. Participates in cleaning and disinfection duties.
