Water and Sewer Labourer

Performs a variety of labouring tasks in Collection/Distribution construction, maintenance and repair operations. Uses equipment and material for thawing and freezing distribution systems. Uses equipment and material in flushing and cleaning collection systems. Assist in street isolation during construction and maintenance operations. Performs distribution system flushing operations. Assist in isolation and repair of water main breaks. Maintain log of service and maintenance work. Assist in the set up of batter boards. Ability to operate all types of hydrants. Ability to deal effectively with the general public and co-workers. Ability to work with concrete.
