RPG Developer

Imperial Brady Canada has an opening for an RPG Developer (IBM i / AS400). The RPG Developer will work closely with business analysts, project managers, system administrators, and end users to design, develop, maintain, and modernize business-critical applications on the IBM i platform. The role focuses on ERP systems, core business processes, and integrations with internal and external systems.   Responsibilities: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize RPG IV (ILE / Free-form) and CL programs. Work with DB2 for i using native objects and SQL. Participate in application modernization initiatives. Develop and maintain system integrations (APIs, file exchanges). Perform unit and integration testing. Participate in deployments and upgrades. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support. Maintain accurate technical documentation. Qualifications: Bilingual (English & French). College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of application development experience. Minimum 5 years of RPG development on IBM I experience. Strong knowledge of RPG IV, CL, and DB2 for i. ERP or mission-critical systems experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
