Reporting to the Manager of the ABI Outreach Team, the Rehabilitation Coordinator provides both part-time clinical and part-time administrative leadership and clinical supervision to the ABI Outreach Team, ABI Education and Prevention Coordinator and the Driver Assessment Program. In addition, the Rehabilitation Coordinator will work collaboratively with the ABI Partnership Program Provincial Office, SGI Injury Claims, SGI Medical Review Unit, WCB and the other ABI Partnership Programs. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education - A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy Competencies - Time management skills - Organizational skills Experience - Min 3 years of recent experience in community based brain injury rehabilitation - Experience w/ leadership within a multi or transdisciplinary rehabilitation team - Interest/experience in clinical research and outcome measures - Interest/experience in quality improvement activities Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Knowledge in community resources and services in the clinical area - Knowledge of acquired brain injuries - Knowledge in models of assessment and treatment of acquired brain injury - Knowledge of best practice or empirical...
