Water/Sewer Labourer (Collection & Distribution)

Performs a variety of labouring tasks in Collection/Distribution construction, maintenance and repair operations. Uses equipment and material for thawing and freezing distribution systems. Uses equipment and material in flushing and cleaning collection systems. Assist in street isolation during construction and maintenance operations. Performs distribution system flushing operations. Assist in isolation and repair of water main breaks. Maintain log of service and maintenance work. Assist in the set up of batter boards. Follow Acts, Regulations, Bylaws, Agreements, policies and procedures. Follow Act, Regulations and policies of Occupational Health & Safety. Address and report hazards, ensuring safe conditions for employees and the public. Perform other duties as assigned.
