The Production Supervisor's primary function is to ensure safety, productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals are met or exceeded across all plant production operations and to achieve company objectives. The objective of the Production Supervisor position is to lead those team members directly reporting to them as well as a dotted line in the production area(s) under their responsibility, ensuring their work areas are provided with the necessary resources, materials, information, and services from support areas. This in turn enables the work area(s) to operate efficiently, and effectively thus improving safety, productivity, quality, costs, and customer satisfaction. Standardization, where necessary, is ensured consistently and sustainably.
