Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual client care and for the overall provision of total client care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses - Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Other Education and Training - Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies - Time management skills - Decision making skills - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) - Demonstrated clinical competency - Ability to conduct assessments/prioritize client needs/develop treatment plans - Ability to coach, mentor and develop others - Knowledge in critical thinking processes - Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info. - Knowledge in LEAN management system - Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served - Working knowledge in health promotion - Ability to balance the needs and interests of diverse groups - Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards - Knowledge of CRNS standards for nursing practice - Competent critical thinking/judgement/autonomous decision making capabilities - Conflict resolution skills to effectively handle difficult issues - Knowledge in population and public health concepts - Communicate...
