Child & Family Services Protection Worker

- Ensure ongoing management of cases in accordance with agency policy - Act on all reports of child abuse neglect and abandonment - Place children in need of protection with alternate care givers - Provide counselling and support services - Ensure appropriate placement resources are available and that the children in care are supervised and monitored appropriately - Case plans are Developed, continuously reviewed and updated as needed - Complete a comprehensive family social history and genogram with the family and maintain on file - Duty to report - Ensure safety standards of care are being followed and comply by quality assurance standards of the agency QUALIFICATIONS: - BSW/BISW or related Degree - Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Check - Knowledge of First Nation Culture - Ability to develop and establish a trusting and strong working relationship with staff, clientele, First Nations communities and TCFS Inc. interest groups - Effective communication skills; computer literate - Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required - Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License - Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and present at the time of the interview Email a Friend Print This Job Email a Friend Print This Job Tweet Vous désirez plus d'information en français sur ce poste?
