Foreman

- Supervise and work alongside Public Works staff - Plan and organize daily and seasonal operations - Operate and maintain water treatment and distribution systems - Operate and maintain wastewater treatment and collection systems - Maintain streets, drainage, buildings and other municipal infrastructure - Operate and maintain municipal equipment - Coordinate repairs and troubleshoot infrastructure issues - Maintain required operational records and assist with regulatory requirements - Participate in after-hours/on-call duties as required - Work with the Administrator on projects, maintenance priorities and future planning Preference will be given to applicants with municipal Public Works experience and: - Class 1 Water Treatment - Class 1 Water Distribution - Class 1 Wastewater Treatment - Class 1 Wastewater Collection - Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience - Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills - Valid drivers licence Applicants with strong municipal/water and wastewater experience who are working toward required certifications may be considered. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/year based on experience and qualifications. The Town offers full benefits, an excellent pension plan and stable, permanent employment.
