Mental Health Therapist Staff

Provides ongoing mental health and psychosocial client services. Services delivered include screening and assessing client needs and determining relevant treatment plans. Initiates or participates in community development initiatives, participating in PHC initiatives evaluation within site. Promotes quality health care outcomes working within established standards of practice to ensure that clients receive a high standard of primary health care. Successful candidate with a home base other than Sandy Bay will be considered. Flexible option for two week in two week out work schedule is available. Costs for time, travel, accommodations, other expenses will be paid by employer. Recruitment incentive of $7500 will be available for eligible successful candidate. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - Experience working with clients and families coping with mental health disorders Education - Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology or other health related discipline Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies - Counseling skills - Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge and skill in mental health intervention methodologies. - Ability to advocate on behalf of clients - Ability to conduct a suicide risk assessment with other health care providers - Ability to create a risk management plan with other health care ...
