Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

The ER nurse is responsible for the coordination and provision of direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients in the Emergency Room. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses - Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Other Education and Training - Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies - Communication skills - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting - Ability to competently use computers and software applications - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Ability to conduct assessments/prioritize client needs/develop treatment plans - Ability to make decisions - Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice - Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
