Nurse A - Registered Nurse General Duty Nurse

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on Medicine 6100 (Oncology/Hematology/BMT). Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training - Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) - Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information - For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/ - 1st preference given to staff of fSaskatoon HR employees and its affiliates - Previous Oncology/Hematology/BMT clinical experience is an asset - Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) - SHR Certification in Chemo & caring for BMT patients is an asset. - Knowlege of principles related to the care of patients on Medicine. - Provincial posting open to SUN members SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05 - Canadian Oncology Nursing certification is an asset. - Ongoing willingness to pursue development pertinient to the clinical area.
