Tooling General Labourer - FAL

Profile We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labourer to join our Tooling Department in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the facility. If you are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and values safety and quality, we encourage you to apply.   Please note that this will be a 9 month term assignment with the possibility of extension.   Duties & Responsibilities Janitorial work and shop clean up as required. When assigned to manufacturing; deburring, part marking, part cleaning, shearing, sawing and cutting of materials. Transport materials, finished products, and equipment throughout plant. Maintain, organize, and conduct inventory cleanup activities for manufacturing tools and equipment. Assist the Tool Makers when required.   Skills & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working in a manufacturing operation is preferred Able to safely set up and operate shop equipment Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to operate a forklift is preferred Ability to work safely with limited supervision Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems is considered an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an orderly work environment
