Provides pre-hospital care for patients including assessing, patient care, transferring and transporting. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Grade 10 - Emergency Medical Responder certificate (EMR) Other Education and Training - First Aid Certificate - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR) Competencies - Computer skills - Interpersonal skills - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to communicate in a cross-cultural setting Other Information - Class 3 or 4 drivers license, where required by the job - Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
