Nurse A - Registered Nurse Registered Psych Nurse

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Sunrise Health Region through provisions of safe quality nursing care to clients. He/She is responsible to the Manager of the designated area. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Other Education and Training - Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable - Nursing diploma is acceptable - Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Competencies - Leadership skills - Problem solving skills - Communication skills - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) - Decision making through the application of knowledge and critical thinking - Demonstrates empathy, trust and respect in the provision of care - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Ability to prioritize work Other Information - Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS - For more information on the city of Melville please visit http://www.melvill...
