Medical Radiation Technologist - Specialty

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: Mammography Angiography (IR) Computerized Tomography (CT) Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma Licenses - Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan Experience - Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist Competencies - Basic - Computer skills - Communication skills - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work independently Other Education & Training - Mammography training/certificate, as required - Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required - Angiography training/certificate, as required Other Information - May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives - Valid driver's license, where required - Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK About US The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, empl...
