Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accountant works within the FMB Department on a team of 30 staff. The Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of accounting and preparation of financial statements for the Government Funded Programs, attending committee meetings, liaising with Program staff regarding financial related transactions and processes to ensure reporting and variance analysis is accurate, assisting Government Funded programs with their annual budgeting process and providing support utilizing Planful software, preparing lead sheets and working papers for the year-end audits while liaising with external auditors and preparing various analyses as required.
