Early Childhood Educator

-Provide nurturing, responsive, and respectful care to children. -Support children's learning and development through play and exploration. -Follow the centre's programming philosophy and support child-led, open ended learning experiences. -Supervise children closely and maintain a safe and inclusive environment. -Assist with daily routines including meals, toileting, dressing, rest time, and transitions. -Follow all centre policies, procedures, licensing requirements, and health and safety practices. -Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff. -Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining an organized environment. - Be flexible and willing to work with toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children as required. -Current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. -Current child abuse registry check. -Ability to accept casual, short notice shifts. -Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting would be an asset, but not required.
