The Intermediate Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting within the travel industry. This position supports all core accounting functions, including revenue recognition, vendor settlements, commission accounting, and multi-currency transactions. It requires a blend of strong technical accounting expertise and a practical understanding of travel booking systems, agency contracts, airline and hotel vendor relationships, and client deposit management. The Intermediate Accountant also leads initiatives to enhance processes, strengthen internal controls, and maintain audit readiness.
