Full Time Grader Operator

Operate a tractor with mower attachment for roadside ditch mowing and vegetation control Operate a motor grader for road maintenance activities such as grading, shaping, crowning, and leveling (as required) Assist with the operation of other municipal equipment (tractor, loader, backhoe, etc.) Perform daily pre- and post-operational inspections and routine equipment maintenance Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation Maintain ditches and drainage systems to support proper water flow Identify and report hazards, obstructions, and maintenance concerns along roadways Assist with additional Public Works activities including culvert installation, signage and general labour tasks Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures Experience operating tractors, mowers, graders, or other heavy equipment is preferred Road maintenance or agricultural equipment experience is considered an asset, willingness to learn and be trained on various types of equipment Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic servicing and maintenance Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operation practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and organizational skills Email a Friend Print This Job Email a Friend Print This Job Tweet Vous désirez plus d'information en français sur ce poste?
