Physical Therapist Degree

Reporting directly to the Senior Physical Therapist, the Staff Physical Therapist treats, by physical therapy, those patients assigned to the senior therapist and directs, guides and evaluates physical therapy students. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy Licenses - Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required - Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately - Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing - Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach - Ability to plan, organize & prioritize work in collaboration with others - Initiative & judgment to plan implement/modify treatment programs for clients - Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues - Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment - Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner - Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments Other Information - May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives - For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visi...
