Physical Therapist Degree Senior

Reporting to the Manager, The Physical Therapist Degree - Senior will act as the clinical leader for the Saskatchewan Surgical Pathways. The incumbent will provide support and direction to the physical therapist(s) - degree, as well as participating in the assessment, treatment, education and evaluation for Spinal Patients and Orthopedic Patients in an outpatient setting. The Physical Therapist Degree - Senior will work closely and collaboratively with the referring Primary Care Practitioner, Orthopedic Surgeons, and Spine Surgeons to ensure continuity and high-quality care. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - Two (2) years experience in assessment and treatment of Spinal Patients - Two (2) years exp in assessment and treatment of Spinal or Orthopedic patients Education - Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy Other Education and Training - Current CPR Level C - Level 3 Cert. in Advances Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Competencies - Decision making skills - Problem solving skills Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge and understanding of the Four Patterns of Low Back Pain - Flexible and adaptive approach to treatment of complex orthopedic patients - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach - Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making - Abili...
