Nurse B - Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Manager of Nursing, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for promoting the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors, and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - 5 years acute care nursing experience Education - Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Competencies - Basic - Computer skills - Change management skills Knowledge and Abilities - Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development - Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change - Ability to foster the skills of other staff members - Demonstrate responsible decision-making supported by strong critical thinking - In-depth knowledge to assess and manage acute and chronically ill patients - Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal/consultative relationships - Expertise in medical nursing, technical skills, and psychosocial aspects of care - Ability to facilitate teamwork is essential - ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, families. - Ability to lead/encourage/advise/collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals - Competencies: Le...
