School Bus Driver

Must hold and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Class 1-5 Driver's License for at least 2 years. Must hold a valid School Bus Endorsement (training is available for non-licensed school bus drivers) Clear driver's abstract, with no major infractions Satisfactory medical examinations in accordance with The Highway Traffic Act First Aid Certification or be willing to obtain one at Prairie Valley School Division's expense. Working Conditions: Full time bus routes are paid at daily base rate of $58.63plus a per km rate calculated at $0.23/km 100% employer paid health benefits plan Employer matched pension plan Drivers with young children may take their children with them on the bus Subject to CUPE Agreement Commencing as soon as possible and ending February 12, 2027 or upon return of incumbent, whichever is earlier. There is a possibility for an extension. Working in varied climates and differing road conditions Physical ability to load and unload students in wheelchairs may be required.
